The study of the mirror imaged, supple shapes of the butterfly inspired the furniture design. Papilio, a symbol of lightness and metaphor of transformation, reinterprets shapes found in nature in a geometric way. The lines, broken in several points, create interesting angles and make the structure of the table light, modular and stable. Light projected on the object and the transparency of the glass help to create an intriguing play of light and shadow. It is versatile as it is available in different sizes and / or shades. By replacing the glass surface with a wooden top, Papilio becomes an original seat.
